Derek Anger, AIA, NCARB, PE

Derek has served as architectural and structural engineering design lead on various projects in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. He has performed numerous building code and life safety reviews, designed building and equipment layouts for new facilities and existing building renovations, and led the development of detailed construction packages. As project lead, Derek manages the design process from start to finish, managing team personnel to keep projects on schedule; coordinating the project with other disciplines; managing the budget through design, project specification writing and coordination, and construction administration; and ensuring the project scope remains on track. His investigative skills include consulting with various insurance-related projects, including but not limited to: roof inspections, tornado damage assessments, and precast concrete structure assessments. His investigative responsibilities include storm damage investigations, property condition assessments, structural evaluation of existing buildings, structural repair and rehabilitation design, and construction observation and administration.
