Allison Transmission, Inc., and American Structurepoint, a full-service, national architecture and engineering firm, have received a National Recognition Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies for exceptional engineering excellence for the Allison Transmission Innovation Center.

Allison Transmission is a leading designer and manufacturer of vehicle propulsion solutions for commercial and defense vehicles, the largest global manufacturer of medium- and heavy-duty fully automatic transmissions, and a leader in electrified propulsion systems. The 96,000-sft, 4-story Allison Transmission Innovation Center provides a collaborative environment for the firm to bring innovative technology and products to market faster and more efficiently to improve how the world works at its worldwide corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Innovation Center is home to approximately 300 Allison employees, consolidating engineering teams from multiple locations into one facility. The facility includes contemporary design concepts, including unique collaboration areas, natural lighting, a visitor’s experience center, and a vehicle display area showcasing Allison’s latest innovations.

The American Structurepoint design team provided civil and structural engineering, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, traffic engineering, and land surveying services for the project.
