USACE Omaha District, Hazmart Building 525, Minot Air Force Base
Minot, North Dakota
This project entailed design services for the demolition and reconstruction of the Hazmart Building 525 at Minot Air Force Base in Minot, North Dakota. American Structurepoint provided the architecture, interior design, and civil engineering of the design/build effort. The total reconstruction of Building 525 includes the removal and reconstruction of approximately 16,000-sft within this existing facility. Our design work provided replacement for waste containment storage cells, general storage, MPE spaces, pedestrian walkways, and associated administrative office spaces. It’s anticipated the project will register for DOD-specific Federal High Performance and Sustainable Building Guiding Principles Compliance (GPC) third-party certification through the Green Building Initiative (GBI) program.
