Residence Blast Damage Assessments
Indianapolis, Indiana
Investigative engineers from American Structurepoint evaluated multiple neighboring homes in the Richmond Hill subdivision after a nearby explosion. The purpose of the investigations was to determine if the residences were structurally sound, the extent of structural damage sustained by the residences, and to recommend repairs for any observed damage. The homes suffered varying degrees of property damage due to overpressure and ground vibrations from the explosion that completely destroyed several homes in the neighborhood.
