Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo School of Health Sciences and Nursing Renovation and Expansion

American Structurepoint provided architecture and programming services for a $20 million renovation to the School of Health and Nursing that includes a 25,000-sft addition to the existing building. Prior to the renovations and addition, the School of Health Sciences and Nursing was a repurposed industrial facility. The building now has modern classrooms and teaching labs for multiple health sciences programs including dental assisting, medical assisting, healthcare support, paramedic science, respiratory care, surgical technology, and nursing and practical nursing. The building also has a dedicated area that will hold some of the automation and robotics department. Additionally, the new building features a 300-person community gathering space to host graduation ceremonies and other campus/student life events.
