LUC-Monroe Street/Silica Drive Bridge

American Structurepoint is leading the construction administration and construction inspection services for the construction of the new Silica Drive bridge over Ten Mile Creek, as well as the widening and reconstruction of Monroe Street in Lucas County, Ohio. This ODOT LPA project for the City of Sylvania is replacing a deficient single span concrete arch with a new bridge including composite prestressed concrete box beams, reinforced concrete deck on cap and column piers with semi-integral abutments. The project is also widening and reconstructing a half-mile of Monroe Street. Major project components include NEPA compliance for in-stream work, full-depth pavement replacement, part-width construction, traffic signal and lighting installations, utility coordination, and public information assistance in coordination with the City, Emergency Services, local schools, homeowners, business owners, NS Railroad, and ODOT District 2.
