Stillwater Lift Station and Force Main Replacement

American Structurepoint provided utility infrastructure design, environmental services, structural engineering, and land surveying services for the replacement of the existing Stillwater Lift Station and force main located in Wegerzyn Park in the City of Dayton and Montgomery County, Ohio. Our team provided a preliminary Basis of Design report analyzing the different site options and pump configurations and sizing. The site had several constraints as it is located adjacent to the 100-year floodway and a high-quality cultural resource site where several artifacts have been found. The lift station is currently sized at 10 MGD, but after reviewing the modeling data, the pump station needed to be upsized to a 27 MGD station. This required coordination between the City and County agencies, as the downstream infrastructure did not have the capacity for this flow currently.
