South Old 3C Highway Improvements
Delaware County, Ohio
American Structurepoint prepared environmental documents for the widening of CR 24 (Old 3C) from Mount Royal Avenue north to Big Walnut Road. We completed jurisdictional and isolated waters delineation reports in accordance with the most recent United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) guidance documents. Five jurisdictional and isolated wetlands and one stream were documented during the field study.
USACE issued a jurisdictional determination concurring with our assessment of the field conditions. As part of the unavoidable impacts to wetlands, American Structurepoint obtained the required 404/401 permits for the roadway project. We also coordinated the wetland mitigation activities with the county, the mitigation bank entities, and the regulatory agencies.
